Dr. Kelly Gibson earned her D.C. from the Cleveland Chiropractic College of Los Angeles. This 4 year program requires over 4,000 hours of classroom and clinical study. After earning her degree, Kelly has continued her education through the University of Bridgeport and the Spine Research Institute of San Diego. Our doctor has extensive knowledge of injuries such as whiplash and has satisfactorily completed an advanced courses of study in the diagnosis and clinical management of cervical acceleration/deceleration, trauma, whiplash-related temporomandibular, joint disorders, rotator cuff injuries, spinal trauma, traumatic brain injures, collision reconstruction, and live crash tests.

Dr. Gibson is passionate about learning and sharing what she knows. It is very important to her to stay current so she can provide the best chiropractic care possible to her patients. She is proud to be one top chiropractors in San Diego County since she started her own practice over 15 years ago.

At Vista Chiropractic Center our chiropractor does a complete medical history followed by a physical, orthopedic, and neurological examination. She requests any necessary x-rays, MRI’s, and laboratory tests required to best diagnose you. Then she develops an individual treatment plan just for you.

She takes into account your physical structure, emotional state, toxicity, diet and nutritional state. All of these areas will be addressed by the complete treatment plan. Improving these areas will enable your body to function at its highest level for optimum health and wellness.

Step 1: Pain Relief

If you are in pain, that is our initial focus at Vista Chiropractic Center . We want to correct your spine to help alleviate any discomfort and to allow the body to begin the healing process. Depending on your condition, the doctor may want to work with you two to three times weekly for the first few months of care in order to give your body the optimal environment for healing as quickly as possible.

Step 2: Restoring Balance

The corrective phase of your chiropractic plan is bring your body into balance allowing your muscles and other tissues the opportunity to heal and strengthen. This helps prevent further injury, illness and pain. During this step of your program, you may require an average of four to eight corrections monthly until your body can maintain the alignment on its own.

Step 3: Wellness Care

When your body is pain free, the new goal becomes keeping it that way! This is accomplished by maintaining your spinal correction, and coming in to be checked periodically, maybe one or more times a month depending on your condition and lifestyle. This way your carefully designed wellness strategy works with you to create ideal health!
